Demographic explosion, increasing urbanization, technological develop-ments, climate change, and resource scarcity are among the many external influences for which business leaders must prepare by putting an end to traditional value chains and shaping new growth models. To help business leaders acknowledge these changes and understand how business is impacted by these transformations, PwC, the global advisory leader, École Polytechnique and Google are launching a unique and innovative training program: the LEAD Academy (“Learn. Experience. Adapt. Disrupt”).
A unique program to prepare leaders of tomorrow
The LEAD Academy is aimed at high-potential individuals, considered as their firms’ prospective leaders, and fast-developing startup managers. Open to 60 participants per year, this program will help them anticipate and integrate innovative, regulatory and environmental transformations. It will give them methodological tools to boost innovation within their own companies in order to prepare them for the challenges of a constantly evolving economic landscape.

The LEAD Academy features a 100-hour, 10-month curriculum certified by École Polytechnique Executive Education as a part of its “Transformation strategies” program.
This inter-company and multi-track program created by École Polytechnique Executive Education, Google and PwC is structured around 3 learning formats:
- overview sessions to understand important topics and concepts;
- 10-participant in-depth workshops to put the topics developed during the overview sessions into practice through concrete situations proposed by entrepreneurs or academics;
- exchange and creation in small groups, in which each participant implements what they have learnt in a business related issue. During these work sessions, the participants can exchange views with 10 sparring partners from different sectors to co-develop solutions for their own issues.

The formation revolves around 6 themes:

- Technology as an Enabler;
- Doing Business within Earth’s Ecosystem;
- Navigating New Regulatory Frameworks;
- Managing Tomorrow’s Workforce;
- Rethinking the Future of Business Models.
Animated by experts including academics, businesspeople and entrepreneurs, the LEAD Academy will also allow the participants to develop a high-powered professional network and to connect today’s and tomorrow’s leaders.
