On 4th September 2016, in the wings of the G20, Ecole Polytechnique, ENSTA ParisTech, Télécom ParisTech and Zhejiang University signed a double-degree agreement. This new agreement aims at cultivating high level scientific talents with international vision in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The primary purpose of this double-degree agreement, signed on September 4th 2016 between Ecole Polytechnique, ENSTA ParisTech and Télécom Paris Tech together with Zhejiang, is to deliver the selected Chinese students with a master degree from Zhejiang University and a joint post master’s degree from the three French institutions. This new program is designed for Chinese professionals who already hold a Bachelor degree with at least a three-year work experience or a master degree with at least a two-year work experience.
For this first edition, 11 Chinese students of the Polytechnic Institute of Zhejiang University were selected among the 300. They will thus have the opportunity to supplement their scientific curriculum with a master degree in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The 1st year of the curriculum, that is to be entirely taught in English, will take place in Zhejiang University. Students will attend management and economics classes. They will spend the 1st semester of their second year in France, in the three partner institutions. Students will attend innovation, entrepreneurial management and digital transformation classes. They will also benefit from French industrials speeches and participate to projects related to concrete case studies. A 6-month internship, in a Chinese firm, will conclude the program.
This double-degree master will be launched in mid-September 2016 and the 11 Chinese students will begin their lectures in France in September 2017.
